An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Three-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 41" x 75") (Learn More) The Pawnbroker, the classic 1964 (released in the U.S. in 1965) Sidney Lumet tortured-Concentration-camp-survivor-tries-to-make-it-through-life melodrama ("Powerful... provocative"; "From the novel by Edward Lewis Wallant"; "The most talked about picture!"; about a depressed man who is a concentration camp survivor who runs a pawnshop in New York's Harlem, amid many poor black African Americans) starring Rod Steiger (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; in the title role as the Pawnbroker, Sol Nazerman), Brock Peters, Jaime Sanchez, Geraldine Fitzgerald, Raymond St. Jacques, and Juano Hernandez NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this three-sheet has been trimmed and it now measures 41" x 75". This three-sheet was printed in 2 sections. Also note that the theater that used this poster glued the two pieces together before putting them on display (this is typical of many actual theater-used three-sheets). Condition: fair. The poster had a large blank area at the top, and someone trimmed off approximately 6" of that area, and then used that piece as backing when gluing the two pieces of the poster together (so the poster now measures 41" x 75"). There is a censor stamp in the top right corner and tape stains across the joined area. Learn More about condition grades
