Juano Hernandez was a famed Puerto Rican black actor from the 1930s to the 1970s. Juano helped pave the way for black African American actors to gain acceptance in mainstream Hollywood movies. Some of his movies include: They Call Me Mr. Tibbs, Sergeant Rutledge, and Intruder in the Dust.He passed away in 1970 at the age of 73.
