Important Added Info: Note that this poster, which has a wonderful image that does not appear on domestic U.S. one-sheets has a mystery around it! We originally auctioned this poster as a recalled "international style" U.S. one-sheet, because there is a spelling error in Chris Evans' name at upper left ("Chris Evens"). We were told that the studio saw this spelling error and then printed a corrected version, and the first version was recalled, but some examples made it into the hobby. However, we then learned additional information about the poster. As best we can determine, ALL of the posters with this spelling error that have been sold in the hobby originate from Thailand, and we were sent images of a Bangkok theater displaying posters with previously unseen images on them, including some of the ones we auctioned (it is certainly possible that the posters were created solely for a single Thai theater chain, similar to the U.S. Alamo Drafthouse posters). You might wonder why it is entirely in English. This is not that unusual for some countries. There are many posters from Lebanon and Switzerland that are entirely in English, and closely resemble U.S. one-sheets. While we can't say for certain, PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS POSTER UNLESS YOU CAN ACCEPT THAT IT IS VERY POSSIBLE THAT IT WAS PRINTED IN THAILAND, AND IS THEREFORE A "THAI ONE-SHEET". Note also that this Thai one-sheet measures 27" x 39 3/4" [69 x 101 cm]. Finally, note that this is a double-sided poster. From the 1990s on, movie posters were often made in double-sided versions (for use in light boxes). If we do not note that a poster is double-sided (as this is), then it is single-sided.
