An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20" x 29") (Learn More) Taxi Driver, the classic 1976 Martin Scorsese New York City descent-into-schizophrenia mental illness crime murder melodrama ("On every street in every city in this country there's a nobody who dreams of being a somebody."; "He's a lonely forgotten man desperate to prove that he's alive."; "Written by Paul Schrader"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Robert De Niro (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; as Travis Bickle), Jodie Foster (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Albert Brooks ("as Tom"; in his first movie role!), Harvey Keitel, Leonard Harris, Peter Boyle ("as 'Wizard'"), Cybill Shepherd ("as 'Betsy'"), Martin Scorsese, Joe Spinell, and Richard Higgs NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It had a few faint water stains in the top half of the left edge of the poster and pinholes in the corners. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not at all distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
