An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 11" x 14" (11x14) Movie Still (Learn More) Hollywood Hotel, the 1937 Busby Berkeley Los Angeles California romantic musical comedy ("The Hollywood Hotel Program direct from The Orchid Room of the Air") starring Dick Powell, Rosemary Lane, Hugh Herbert, Ted Healy (most famous as the person who started The Three Stooges; they were first billed as "Ted Healy and his Stooges"; he let them go on their own, hiring replacement "Stooges", but that did not work out well at all!), Benny Goodman ("King of Swing") and his Orchestra, Louella Parsons, Glenda Farrell, Lola Lane, Johnnie Davis, Alan Mowbray, Frances Langford, Jerry Cooper, Ken Niles, Duane Thompson, Raymond Paige and his Orchestra, Mabel Todd, Allyn Joslyn, Edgar Kennedy, and Harry James. Note that there was a real life Hollywood Hotel that was a major Hollywood institution in the 1930s (famous stars would gather there). This movie is set at the real life hotel! It also had a premiere on December 20th before receiving a wide release in January of 1938. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the still shows a great candid image of Busby Berkeley with the movie's lead actors on the set! Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. There is a stamp on the back of the still that reads, "CREDIT WILL BE APPRECIATED PHOTO BY M. MARIGOLD". Finally, note that there is a paper snipe glued on the back of the still that describes the scene on the front (it does not affect the front of the still). Condition: good to very good.
