4 1948 Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Rocky Rhodes, the 1934 Alfred Raboch cowboy western ("Buck Jones latest and greatest action feature!"; "Another smashing story by W.C. Tuttle") starring Buck Jones (in the title role as Rocky Rhodes), Sheila Terry, Stanley Fields, Walter Miller, Monte Montague, Bud Osborne, Alfred P. James, and Jack Rockwell. Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocoanut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were!

Condition: very good. The card pictured at upper right has a few pairs of staple holes in the right edge that have been repaired with tape from the back but otherwise they are in pretty nice condition.
