JACK ROCKWELL

Jack Rockwell was a Mexican-born American actor from the 1920s to the 1940s. He appeared in well over 200 films and serials, most often playing a lawman (sheriffs [at least 54 times], marshals [at least 12 times], deputies [at least 14 times], Texas Rangers [at least 12 times], etc). Charles Starrett commented that Rockwell was "perfect as a Sheriff because he looked like one". He also worked often with Ken Maynard, and some of his movies include: Flashing Guns, Drifting Along, and Lumberjack. He passed away in 1947 at the age of 57.
