An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Hot Ice, the 1955 Jules White England Scotland Yard detective crime slapstick comedy short ("All tangled up with a girl-crook and a lady-gorilla"; the Stooges apply for jobs as "Yard Men" at Scotland Yard, not realizing they will not be detectives, but gardeners; they get involved in the case of a missing diamond, and Shemp accidentally eats it, and crooks catch them and want to cut it out of him, but a gorilla that loves Shemp puts a stop to that) starring The Three Stooges (Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Shemp Howard), Christine McIntyre, Kenneth MacDonald, Barbara Bartay, Lester Allen, and Ray Corrigan (as the gorilla). Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned this poster once before (in 2015, when it auctioned for $410), and that poster has been re-consigned to us, so it is still the only example of this poster we have ever auctioned! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor wear on the folds.
