Artist: Howard Terpning Important Added Info: Note that "pre-awards" one-sheets have a tagline at the top (in a black box) that reads "The happiest sound in all the world". While still in continuous first release and after it won 5 Academy Awards in 1965, new one-sheets were printed and that top tagline was replaced with "Winner of 5 Academy Awards Including The 'Best Picture Of Year'". The poster offered here is the pre-Awards one-sheet, which is much more desired by collectors. Some pre-awards one-sheets credit Todd-AO (below the guitar and above "Color by Deluxe"), and others do not. The ones that do not were created for theaters that could not show the 70mm Todd-AO version. Condition: good. The poster has some discoloration and marker writing in the lower quarter (see our image). There are pinholes around the edges and some other defects that can be clearly seen in our super-sized image.
