Artist: Rene Peron Important Added Info: Note that this poster is undated, and it is very difficult to know when it is from, but we think it is likely from the very early 1930s, because it references Sherlock Holmes on it, and Clive Brook played Sherlock Holmes between 1929 and 1932. Also note that the poster says "PATHE-RURAL" at the top. in the 1920s through the 1940s, movies in France were given one release in the major cities and another release in rural areas, and different posters were prepared for the separate releases.
