If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards) Also note that this poster was printed on the back of an old map! During World War II in Belgium, there was a massive paper shortage, and so they used whatever paper they could find to print the movie posters, and in many cases they used old maps, and printed the movie posters on the reverse. They often also made the posters smaller, so they could get more posters printed. This practice continued for a couple of years after World War II. Since these posters are original, and since all such posters are printed on the back of maps or other posters, this is not considered a defect by almost all collectors. Condition: good to very good. The poster was printed on the back of a map , and there is slight bleed through in the yellow areas and in the blank borders from the map on the back (but it is truly not very distracting). There was wear on the foldlines and pinholes and smudges around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but virtually no restoration was done to the poster. Learn More about condition grades
