An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More) A Certain Young Man, the 1928 Hobart Henley silent romantic comedy (from the story by Roy Horniman) starring Ramon Novarro, Marceline Day, Renee Adoree, Carmel Myers, Bert Roach, and Patricia Avery. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the still shows a great candid image of Patricia Avery applying make-up which she supposedly stores in the turned up cuffs of her pants, which are described as the "newest one-piece sports frocks". Note that there is information about the still printed on the back. The writing indicates that she is "one of the newest MGM stock players", and that she "plays an important part" in "A Certain Young Man", but it seems that she never did get to make this movie. She apparently started in movies in 1927, and retired one year later, and yet she lived for another 50 years. If anyone knows more about her or why her career ended so soon and abruptly, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good. There are creases in the lower part of the right border, likely caused by several paper clips being placed on the edge of the still. There are faint emulsion scuffs scattered throughout the still, but they are truthfully not very noticeable except when the still is tilted to the light. Learn More about condition grades
