A 1934 Re-Release Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Lone Rider, the 1930 Louis King cowboy western ("The screen's daredevil cowboy Buck Jones in a thrilling breath-taking all talking western") starring Buck Jones (his first talking movie!), Vera Reynolds, Harry Woods, George C. Pearce, and Silver (Jones' horse!). Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocoanut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were. This was one of the few movies where Silver was billed on the posters! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There is a 1" tear in the center of both the top and bottom borders, with pinholes and tiny paper loss in other parts of the borders. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
