Date Sold 10/24/2019Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) The Killer Shrews, the 1959 Ray Kellogg science fiction (sci-fi) giant monster horror thriller ("all that was left after... 'The Killer Shrews'"; "They had to eat 3 times their body weight each day... Or Starve!"; about a group of people trapped on an island with a doctor whose experiment has unwittingly created giant shrews) starring Ingrid Goude, James Best, Ken Curtis, Baruch Lumet (father of director Sidney Lumet!), and Gordon McLendon. Note that the ad campaign for this strange movie used very clever art that only shows a "shrew tail" covering a woman's shoe with the tagline "all that was left after..."! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been machine folded! Some pre-1970 insert posters were machine folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 insert posters (note that most post-1970 inserts were NOT machine folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those inserts). Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It has a few faint scuff marks in just a few areas and overall it is in pretty nice condition and it displays well!
