Artist: Kazuhiko Sano Important Added Info: Note that this poster has the title in white letters. Almost all known examples of this poster have the title in silver letters. It had been suggested that this was a "rejected" version (that someone saw the initial version with white letters and decided it would be better with silver letters and that they then destroyed almost all of the white letter versions and only distributed the silver letter versions, which would account for the extreme rarity of this poster). That was only a guess until this particular poster surfaced, because since this is a very rare printer's test poster (often referred to as a "printer's proof"), it makes it that much more certain that this never made it past the proof stage. Sometimes when printer's test posters would be printed, they would print them on the back of other test posters (since they would never be distributed to theaters, and only were shown to people at the printer and at the studio). This particular poster is printed on the back of an "Android" (which is a 1982 movie) one-sheet! See our images of the front and back of the poster. This poster is one of only four examples of this poster that have surfaced that have the title in white letters. Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. There are some creases scattered down the right side of the image approximately 5" from the right of the poster. There is a lesser number of creases scattered down the left side of the image.
