An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (pb; measures 12 1/2" x 18 3/4" [32 x 48 cm]; 21 pages) (Learn More) Women of All Nations, the 1931 Raoul Walsh post-World War I (WWI) Marine military romantic comedy (this was a sequel of sorts to "What Price Glory", with McLaglen & Lowe reprising their roles as tough Marines; there was one earlier sequel called "Cock-Eyed World") starring Victor McLaglen, Edmund Lowe, Greta Nissen, El Brendel, Fifi D'Orsay, Marjorie White, T. Roy Barnes, Bela Lugosi ("as Prince Hassan"), Humphrey Bogart, and Mischa Auer. Note that Humphrey Bogart had a minor role in this movie, but his scenes were deleted in most or all known prints. Bela Lugosi also had a very small role. It is well known that William Fox signed some of the greatest stars in Hollywood at the start of the 1930s when they were complete unknowns, and then "let them get away". Two of those were in this movie, Humphrey Bogart and Bela Lugosi (others included Paul Muni and John Wayne)! The producers of this movie created a giant pressbook with 21 pages, including two fold-outs, and yet nowhere in the pressbook did they mention or picture either Humphrey Bogart or Bela Lugosi! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this pressbook! Note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook (if the back cover is not the poster page, we photographed the interior poster page), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners received pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut! Condition: poor to fair, NO CUTS. The pressbook is complete and uncut and it is folded across the middle. It unfortunately has much water staining in the top left of all pages, and it has caused the paper to somewhat deteriorate in those areas, although you can still see the images and read the text in those areas.
