Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Belgian Movie Poster (measures approximately 14" x 21") (Learn More) Arabian Nights, the 1942 John Rawlins desert romantic action adventure thriller ("Walter Wanger's mighty production") starring Jon Hall, Maria Montez (as Scheherazade), Sabu Dastagir (billed as "Sabu"), Leif Erikson, Billy Gilbert, Edgar Barrier, Shemp Howard, Thomas Gomez, Turhan Bey, Elyse Knox, Acquanetta (in her first film), and Carmen D'Antonnio NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this Belgian poster measures approximately 14" x 21" and is folded. Note that this poster was printed on the back of a map! During WWII, there was an extreme paper shortage in Belgium and most of the posters printed at the time were printed on the backs of maps or any other kind of paper! Condition: good to very good. Someone intended to cut out the figure of Maria Montez, and very neatly cut along the outline of her hair starting at the "S" of "LES" and following the outline of her hair up to the top border. They then apparently changed their mind (luckily!). The cut area could be repaired from the back with conservation tape, although there still would be some evidence of the cut from the front. Other than the above, there are smudges and creases in the blank borders and extra creases above and below the center foldline. Learn More about condition grades
