A 1970s Re-creation Movie Pressbook (pb; measures 14 1/4" x 21 1/4" [36 x 54 cm]; 8 pages) (Learn More) The Roaring West ("[Of Land Rush Days!]"), the 1935 Ray Taylor cowboy western serial ("15 Blazing Chapters of Wild West Action!") starring Buck Jones, Muriel Evans, Eole Galli, William Desmond, Walter Miller, Frank McGlynn, Harland Knight, and Pat J. O'Brien (billed as "Pat O'Brien"). Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocoanut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a re-creation of the original 1935 pressbook that has often been mistakenly sold as original (it was done in the 1970s by Jack Mathis, and was intended as a tribute). This reprint pressbook is not exactly the same as the original, and what we are offering here is the 1970s re-creation. Condition: very good to fine, NO CUTS.
