Carroll (as Joseph), Cecil Humphreys (as Judge Linton), and Miles Mander (as Lockwood) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this French poster measures 23" x 31" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). OR you can't see the restoration because it was so well done, but the poster had fairly significant defects. OR no restoration was performed, but the defects are not major, and restoration could be done to the poster without re-backing it. See below for its pre-restoration defects (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had tears and creases along both foldlines (including a tiny circular area of paper loss in Oberon's forehead), and some paper loss at the crossfold (which includes paper loss in Olivier's eye). There were pinholes, smudges, and creases around the edges of the poster. The person who restored the poster did a pretty nice job restoring the above defects (but they did not really attempt to do restoration on the border defects), but you can still somewhat see the restoration on the foldlines (more so from close up).
