An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm, the 1917 Marshall Neilan silent juvenile family romantic comedy melodrama ("From the play by Kate Douglas Wiggin and Charlotte Thompson"; an adaptation by Frances Marion of this classic 1909 children's play, which itself was based on the 1903 novel by Wiggin; about an orphan teen who goes to live with her wealthy mean spinster aunts, and she eventually wins them over with her boundless optimism) starring Mary Pickford (in the title role as Rebecca Randall), Eugene O'Brien, Helen Jerome Eddy, Charles Ogle, Marjorie Daw, and Milton Berle (uncredited in his third movie role!). Note that this was the first movie version of this children's story. It was remade in 1932 with Marian Nixon in the lead role and again in 1938 with Shirley Temple.

Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a one-sheet (30 years ago), five 8x10 lobby cards, and a glass slide from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. The top and right borders were mostly trimmed off and someone replaced those borders with pieces from another card, and they used tape from the reverse and the card displays pretty well!
