They are certainly far more scarce than title cards or regular window cards, and are rarely offered for sale. Unlike title lobby cards, they are basically "mini posters", and certainly can be framed and enjoyed, and can be displayed in a much smaller area than a poster can be. Note that this mini window card has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the poster was backed onto a paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (except somewhat heavier). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards, and lobby cards. Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 8" x 12" [20 x 30 cm]. What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. Prior to paperbacking, the card had its top and right borders trimmed off, and it had tears and paper loss in the top and right. Overall, the card was in fair to good condition prior to paperbacking. The restorer did a pretty nice job, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
