Hill (billed as "Bob Hill") mystery crime horror science fiction (sci-fi) serial ("15 Thrilling Episodes"; "15 episodes of flaming action, dynamic thrills, and eerie mystery"; a wacky story with Bela Lugosi as a crazy Eurasian who hires another Eurasian, an equally wacky woman known as The Dragon Lady, and together they terrorize the shop owners of a "Chinatown" in an unnamed city, with the hopes of allowing people from another country to come in and take over!) starring Bela Lugosi, Bruce Bennett (billed as "Herman Brix"), Luana Walters (as the Dragon Lady), Joan Barclay, and Maurice Liu NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these lobby cards have been heavily trimmed to 10 1/2" x 10 1/2" [27 x 27 cm]. Apparently, a theater had a display that had a circular opening, and they trimmed these lobby cards (and some others, which we are auctioning in separate auctions) to fit that display. Of course, if these cards were untrimmed, they would sell for far more than they will in this condition! One could leave these cards as they are, or one might hire a restorer to recreate the missing area. A third possibility would be to locate a card that shows a lesser scene and then "marry" the two cards, using the title and border area from the other card to restore this one, so that much more of the final product would be original. But of course, that will be the choice of the new owner. Please do not bid on these cards unless you can accept that they are heavily trimmed, as seen in our image. Condition: fair.
