Here Comes the Band, the 1935 Paul Sloane romantic musical comedy ("It's here! The big parade of music, romance and laughter!") starring Ted Lewis and His Orchestra, Virginia Bruce, Ted Healy (most famous as the person who started The Three Stooges; they were first billed as "Ted Healy and his Stooges"; he let them go on their own, hiring replacement "Stooges", but that did not work out well at all!), Nat Pendleton, Harry Stockwell, Donald Cook, George 'Spanky' McFarland (star of numerous "Our Gang" comedy shorts; billed as "Spanky McFarland"), and Robert McWade

Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: fair to good. There are light water stains scattered throughout the left half of the card, including many in the man's image. There is a small tape repair on the back of the top right corner. This is the sort of card that responds really well to professional restoration. It is likely that much or all of the light water stains can be removed through chemical means, after which the card will look fantastic (although I think some collectors could happily display this great card on their wall just as it is). Note that the white tape on the back that our consignor used to repair some or all of the tears is Filmoplast P90 acid free conservation paper tape, which is recommended by all restorers for such repairs.
