Ring Lardner's Alibi Ike, the 1935 Ray Enright Chicago Cubs Illinois Major League Baseball sports betting slapstick romantic gambling comedy ("Pennant-winning panic of baseball and blondes!"; "By Ring Lardner"; a crazy story of a star baseball pitcher who is also a compulsive liar, and he gets involved with the manager's sister-in-law, but his lies ruin that, and he gets mixed up with gamblers who threaten to break his arms if he doesn't throw games; after many complications, including being kidnapped by the gamblers, he escapes in the 9th inning of the championship game, and he not only strikes out the opposing team in the top of the inning, but he also hits a home run in the bottom of the inning to win the game!) starring Joe E. Brown (in the title role as Frank 'Ike' Farrell), Olivia de Havilland (in her first movie role!), Ruth Donnelly, Roscoe Karns, and William Frawley

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded.

Condition: good to very good. The card has some tears in the borders that slightly extend into the edge of the image. It has some slight darkening around the edges and in the top blank area. It has some faint smudges scattered in the image. In spite of these defects, the card displays great as it is, or certainly, it could have some professional restoration performed if the new owner desired.
