Important Added Info: Note that this great still of Betty Grable has a wonderful provenance! It was consigned to us by the granddaughter of the lady who ran the Betty Grable fan club in the 1950s, and she developed a close friendship with Ms. Grable, and she was given a large number of first release stills (some personally autographed), and we are auctioning several of this consignor's Betty Grable stills in this set of auctions. Also note that this still is from a special set of "color glos" stills, which means it was printed on a photo type of paper and have a glossier front, with more vivid colors. This is something the studios experimented with in the late 1930s and early 1940s, for both 8x10 stills and 11x14 stills. Condition: good. There are many creases throughout the still, but they are mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light, and there are some stains on the back that have no effect on the front.
