eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 7j036 MIGHT & THE MAN glass slide '17 strongman Elmo Lincoln shows off his bulging bicep! Date Sold 9/27/2009Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Might and the Man, the 1917 Edward Dillon silent spy espionage comedy thriller (about a strongman who has to save a girl from kidnappers, and he does so single-handedly, at one point knocking down a group of men with a single blow!) starring Elmo Lincoln, Carmel Myers, Wilbur Higby, Lillian Langdon, and Clyde E. Hopkins. Note that Elmo Lincoln is best remembered for playing the first screen Tarzan, and this movie was made prior to that movie, and shows that he was already a major star when he became Tarzan, and the Tarzan role is not his first success, as has sometimes been erroneously reported! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: The slide does not have a cardboard holder, but rather there is black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of older glass slides. When we auction slides that have a cardboard holder, we provide a separate image of how the cardboard holder looks, but when we auction slides with the black tape (like this one) we only provide the scan of the glass slide image, because that really is about all there is to see. Condition: very good to fine. The slide is in quite nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
