An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 11" x 14" (11x14) Movie Still (Learn More)

Alfred Hitchcock is perhaps the most famous English director of all-time, directing many groundbreaking and classic movies from 1921 to 1976. He would often appear briefly in his own movies as a gag. Some of his movies include: Rear Window (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), North By Northwest, Psycho (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Vertigo, Strangers on a Train, Notorious, Rebecca (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Shadow of a Doubt, The 39 Steps, The Lady Vanishes, The Birds, Dial M for Murder, Lifeboat (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Spellbound, The Man Who Knew Too Much (he made this one TWICE!), The Trouble with Harry, and many, many more! AND Hedda Hopper was an actress from the 1910s to the 1960s. Some of her movies include: The Women, Wings, Topper, Nothing Sacred, and Midnight. She became a very famous newspaper columnist writing about Hollywood, and she became famous for wearing outrageous hats.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that this still shows a great close image of Alfred Hitchcock with famed gossip columnist Hedda Hopper. Given that she died in 1966, and judging from her age and that of Mr. Hitchcock, it would seem likely that the still dates from the late 1950s or early 1960s. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Finally, note that there is a paper snipe listing the names of the stars taped to the back of the center of the still.

Condition: fair to good. There are many creases around the edges of the still and in the top background areas, but fortunately few in the stars' figures. There is some discoloration in both stars' faces.
