Date Sold 11/11/2008Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Killer Shrews, the 1959 Ray Kellogg science fiction (sci-fi) giant monster horror thriller ("all that was left after... 'The Killer Shrews'"; "They had to eat 3 times their body weight each day... Or Starve!"; about a group of people trapped on an island with a doctor whose experiment has unwittingly created giant shrews) starring Ingrid Goude, James Best, Ken Curtis, Baruch Lumet (father of director Sidney Lumet!), and Gordon McLendon. Note that the ad campaign for this strange movie used very clever art that only shows a "shrew tail" covering a woman's shoe with the tagline "all that was left after..."! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The entire poster has darkened slightly and there was a 1" tear in the bottom center of the poster (in the top of the "T" of "BEST"), and someone put a piece of clear tape on the back of that area. After a simple linenbacking, this poster will look fantastic and it will require very little paint restoration. Learn More about condition grades
