What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had a thin strip of paper loss at the center of the middle fold, slightly in Tracy's forehead and in the brim of his hat, and extending into the yellow background. It had paper loss scattered in the top blank border, but only blank white paper was affected, and it had similar paper loss in the bottom border that slightly affected the Paramount credit at lower right. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
