An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 28" x 41" [71 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Desert Valley, the 1926 Scott R. Dunlap silent cowboy western ("A thriller of the sage-brush land"; "Based on the novel by Jackson Gregory") starring Buck Jones, Virginia Brown Faire, Malcolm Waite, Jack W. Johnston, and Charles Brinley. Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocaonut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned some lobby cards (and NO other movie paper) from this movie until we received this one-sheet! Also note that this one-sheet measures 28" x 41" [71 x 104 cm].

Condition: very good. The poster has an extra vertical fold 1" to the right of the regular one, with creases along that fold between the top and middle crossfolds. It has a small piece of tape on the back of the bottom two crossfolds and a 4" piece of tape on the back of the top crossfold, where there was separation. There are some creases, scuffs, and tiny bits of paper loss along some folds. There are pinholes in the corners and some tiny tears in parts of the borders. There is tape on the back of the left end of the top fold where there was separation. After a simple linenbacking, this ultra rare poster will display wonderfully, likely with virtually no paint restoration!
