If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a very interesting poster! We have seen this image on a 1960s re-release Belgian poster, and we would think that there was surely a much earlier Belgian poster with the same image. But this poster does not seem like it can possibly be Belgian, both because it does not measure the earlier large Belgian size, and also because it has a logo in the top left corner which says "UNION FILMS AFRIQUE". A knowledgeable collector tells us that this poster was likely used in the Belgian Congo (which was a Belgian colony in Africa) and that certainly seems likely, given the "African map" in the top left corner (and note that it has an RKO logo, which would seem to surely date the poster to the 1950s or earlier, and it also has a "1950s" feel to the paper quality). If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. There is small paper loss at the top crossfold and tiny paper loss at the middle crossfold. There are creases and a few small tears in the left half of the top horizontal fold, and in the vertical fold between the top and middle crossfolds, with minor wear on the other folds and a few small tears in the lower left blank border Learn More about condition grades
