An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Paper Banner (measures 24" x 81") (Learn More) Medium Cool, the classic 1969 Haskell Wexler journalism photography television news pseudo-documentary ("Beyond the age of innocence... into the age of awareness"; "Written & directed by Haskell Wexler"; about news photographers, partly set at the 1968 Democratic National Convention, and incorporating actual footage from the Convention) starring Robert Forster, Verna Bloom, Peter Bonerz, Marianna Hill, Harold Blankenship, Christine Bergstrom, Peter Boyle (in his first credited movie role!), and Haskell Wexler. Note that this was one of the rare mainstream movies that (like Midnight Cowboy) was released with an X rating, but because some theaters refused to show such movies, it was successfully appealed and changed to an R rating. The studio created snipes to cover the original rating on many posters. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. light scuffs and creases throughout the image area, but they are truly not very distracting This poster is in "lesser" condition (what many dealers would describe as "good" or "good to very good", or in the case of posters with more serious defects, which should be easily seen on our large images, "fair")! It has clear defects, which are likely to be very noticeable in our "large" or "super-sized" images that you can click on from our small image at right. In addition, we have also noted in words what these defects are in our "Description of Defects" section above, as some of these defects may not be all that visible in the images (reading what we wrote and looking at the super-sized image should tell you right away whether it is in "good to very good", "good", or "fair" condition). We know that some collectors could accept this poster's defects, and display it as is, and we also know that many collectors would only be happy with this poster if they had it restored, so please do not bid on it unless you can accept it as it is, or are willing to pay to have it properly restored.
