Dunlap silent cowboy western ("The romance of a hard-riding avenger"; "Story by Harry Sinclair Drago and Joseph Noel") starring Buck Jones, Natalie Joyce, Emile Chautard, Carl Miller, and Albert J. Smith. Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocoanut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that Buck Jones lobby cards from his silent movies are rare, and it is not easy to find single scene cards from many of them. However, we have been consigned three complete sets from 1927 and 1928 (traditionally, very rare years for movie paper), and we are auctioning each of them in a separate auction. This is a very rare opportunity to acquire complete sets of silent Buck Jones lobby cards! Condition: very good to fine. Some of the cards have pinholes in the corners or some minor smudges, but overall, they have likely survived in about as good condition as one could hope (and they are not at all fragile or darkened, which is a giant plus)!
