An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Movie Lobby Card #6 (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) That Touch of Mink, the 1962 Delbert Mann New York City romantic comedy ("Adult sophisticated comedy!"; "The years most uproarious romantic free-for-all!"; "INSISTENCE! RESISTANCE! PERSISTENCE! CO-EXISTENCE!"; about a rich playboy businessman and an old fashioned country girl, and they fall in love, but she wants marriage and a family, and he has other ideas) starring Cary Grant, Doris Day, Gig Young, Audrey Meadows, Dick Sargent, (with special guest appearances by the New York Yankees' baseball sports players) Roger Maris, Mickey Mantle, and Yogi Berra NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been personally autographed (signed) by Mickey Mantle (the card has a wonderful image of Doris Day and Cary Grant in the New York Yankees baseball team dugout, sitting in between Roger Maris, Mickey Mantle, and Yogi Berra, all in uniform!). Note that our consignor attended a baseball collectibles show in Niagara Falls, New York, on June 18 and 19, 1988, and he obtained this autograph from Mr. Mantle at that show, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Interestingly, Mr. Mantle looked at the card and told our consignor that the man at the left end of the image in the Yankees uniform was NOT a baseball player, but an "extra" that was put there so that the bench would seem filled for this scene! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good to fine. Note that the card has a very minor printing defect, which is a series of faint light blue and grey lines down the left edge of the left blank border. This was a very minor printing defect that occurred during the printing of these cards, and it is found on many 1950s and early 1960s lobby cards, and few collectors consider it much of a defect at all, because it is in the left edge of the blank border, has no effect on the image, and would likely be on all examples of this lobby card.
