The poster had creases and tears down the top quarter of the vertical foldline, which falls in the right of Lancaster's face. There were creases and a much lesser number of tears in the other folds and some pinholes and tears in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but you can see signs of the restoration of the tears down the right of Lancaster's face. Learn More about condition grades
