MERLE TRAVIS

Merle Travis was a famous country western singer from the 1930s to the 1980s. He also appeared in 17 movies! Some of his songs include: Sixteen Tons, Dark as a Dungeon, and So Round, So Firm, So Fully Packed. He passed away in 1983 at the age of 65.
