Original Vintage Theatrical 8x10 Still (Learn More) I Married a Monster from Outer Space, the 1958 Gene Fowler Jr. romantic science fiction (sci-fi) alien horror thriller ("Written by Louis Vittes"; about a woman who gets married to a somewhat odd man, and it turns out he has been possessed by an alien, and that they are preparing to take over the Earth) starring Tom Tryon, Gloria Talbott, Chuck Wassil, Maxie 'Slapsie Maxie' Rosenbloom, and Peter Baldwin. Note that this movie clearly "borrows" heavily from the plot of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, which was released two years before (and that movie borrowed heavily from the Robert Heinlein novel "The Puppet Masters", which had been published in 1951). The makers of this movie did not have nearly the budget that Invasion of the Body Snatchers had, but they did the best they could with what they had to work with! Because we are selling more than one still from this film this week as separate eBay sales, we needed to differentiate the different sales, and we did so by marking them "#1, #2, #3, etc..". Most of the stills from the 1950s on were obtained by the collector directly from a movie theater. Most of the earlier stills were purchased from the leading movie memorabilia stores in the 1960s and 1970s. All of the stills purchased from stores were sold as originals, and many of them have original notations on the back that would certainly seem to confirm that they are indeed original. We at eMoviePoster carefully examined every still, and believe every one we are selling is a genuine original vintage still! However, since we know there is no way you can know this for sure from looking at a digital image, be aware that we unconditionally guarantee every still we sell to vintage and from the year we say it is.
