An Original Vintage English Film Program (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More)

One Eyed Jacks, the 1961 Marlon Brando cowboy western ("The motion picture that starts its own tradition of greatness!"; "Based on the novel 'The Authentic Death of Hendry Jones' By Charles Neider") starring Marlon Brando, Karl Malden, Katy Jurado, Ben Johnson, Pina Pellicer (billed as "introducing Pina Pellicer"), Nacho Galindo, Slim Pickens, and Mina Martinez. This bizarre western (which was a fictionalized version of events in the life of Billy the Kid) was, for many years, the record holder for the most amount of footage shot for a single movie. Director Brando apparently shot over 24 hours of footage and his initial cut of the movie ran around 8 hours! Note, too, that planning for the movie began in late 1958 (with Stanley Kubrick as the proposed director), but all the delays, and Brando's endless filming, meant that the movie was not completed until late 1960, and released in 1961. However, some of the movie paper has a 1959 copyright, showing that, at that point, they hoped it would be released either that year or in 1960.

Important Added Info: Note that we have provided an image of all the pages of this 4-page program (we did this by opening it and laying it flat and photographing the front and back cover together, and the interior two pages together). This way, you see the entire program, and can well determine the exact condition of it from our super-sized image. But of course this means that the front cover appears in the top right of our image, but normally, the program would be folded down the center and you would view the cover by itself (and it will be sent folded as was originally intended).

Condition: fair to good. It appears that this program was removed from a magazine (there are perforations along one of the edges) or it is possible that it is incomplete. There are some creases, smudges, and light stains scattered throughout. Please bid knowing that this program may be incomplete.
