Artist: Bob Peak Important Added Info: Note that this is an incredibly rare poster (we only auctioned it one time, which was in 2014, and the buyer of that poster has re-consigned it, so this is still the only example of this poster we have ever seen)! There are surviving examples of the three-sheets and six-sheets from this movie, but we have never before seen this poster, and it is quite possible we will never see it again. It certainly seems like it would be wonderful to display at the offices of the company that owns the rights to the Superman character, although it surely would be cherished by any dedicated Superman collector! Also note that this twenty-four sheet was printed in 18 sections designed to overlap. Also note that this poster needs to be sent in an oversized flat package, which measures roughly 15" x 20" x 3", so it will cost more to send than items that fit in our standard flat packages, especially if they are sent to non-U.S. addresses. Finally, note that this is one of a remarkable collection of ELEVEN 24-sheets we are currently auctioning, and they are from 1957 to 1986, years that you would not expect ANY 24-sheets to have survived from, and they include first release 24-sheets from both Star Wars and Return of the Jedi, which are surely in the handful of most rare Star Wars posters there are! This is an incredibly rare opportunity to add any of these eleven posters to your collection! Condition: very good to fine.
