An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

So Long Mr. Chumps, the 1941 Jules White mistaken identity crime slapstick comedy short (the Stooges are offered a big reward by a businessman seeking an honest man to work for him; they think they found him in an innocent man who was framed for a crime, so they help him escape from prison, but then it turns out their benefactor is a conman!) starring The Three Stooges (Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Curly Howard), Dorothy Appleby, Bruce Bennett, and Lynton Brown

Condition: good. The card has smudges and stains around the edges and pinholes in the corners. There is a 2" tear on the right of the top border that was repaired with tape from the back (it goes into the background between Moe and Curly). There are light horizontal creases in the top of the image area (extending through the top of the hats), in the middle of the image area, and near the bottom of the image area, as though someone once absent-mindedly started to roll up the card! These horizontal creases are slightly noticeable, but not very distracting at all. There is a small replaced piece in the bottom left blank corner and some faint smudges down the left 3" of the card. There are two pieces of brown paper tape on the back of the center of the top and bottom borders, but they were not put there for any reason. Obviously, this card had some notable defects, but it really displays pretty well just as it is, and I would think many collectors could happily display it as is, and of course, any talented restorer could perform restoration on the card!
