Note that director Victor Sjostrom was a famous Swedish director who came out of retirement to star in Ingmar Bergman's "Wild Strawberries". Note that the screenplay for this movie was written by Paul Bern, who, in one of Hollywood's most bizarre episodes ever (which is saying a lot!), married the much young Jean Harlow in 1932 and then shot himself after their honeymoon, apologizing for "a frightful wrong" in a suicide note! It has been rumored that he was actually murdered, and the suicide was a coverup by MGM "fixers"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that all but one of the stills has a printed snipe glued to the back describing the scene on the front, and the other still has a stamp on the back that says "PROOF NOT RETOUCHED". Condition: very good. One of the stills has stains in part of the bottom border. Two of the stills have small tears in the bottom border. Otherwise, they are in pretty nice condition!
