PATSY RUTH MILLER

Patsy Ruth Miller was an actress from the 1920s to the 1930s. She was a major star of the 1920s, and is probably best remembered for playing Esmerelda opposite Lon Chaney Sr. in the silent version of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" in 1923. Some of her other movies include: Tropical Nights, The White Black Sheep, and Name the Man. She completely retired at the age of 27, but she emerged from retirement to appear in two movies, one in 1951, and the other in 1978. She passed away in 1995 at the age of 91.
