Jennings, Grace Pike, Hardee Kirkland, and Darrell Foss NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster is INCOMPLETE and it now measures 40 1/4" x 50 3/4" [102 x 129 cm]. Also note that this poster has been kraftbacked, which means it was backed onto a brown paper soon after it was printed (this process is called "kraft-backing", and posters with it are called "kraft-backed"). One could have it professionally removed from the kraft paper and linenbacked, and it would look great! Finally, note this three-sheet poster was tri-folded only (which means there is one less vertical machine fold than usual). This means the poster has a significantly lesser number of folds than with three-sheets folded in the "regular" way, which is nice! Tri-folded three-sheets need to be sent in an oversized flat package, which measures roughly 13" x 30", so they cost more to send than regularly folded three-sheets, especially if they are sent to non-U.S. addresses.
UPDATED 08/11/2015: Note that we have identified this previously unknown incomplete poster. It is from the 1921 film "From the Ground Up", and we have updated the auction accordingly. Condition: poor. The poster was kraftbacked (see above). The poster is incomplete and missing a large portion. The poster has MUCH discoloration scattered throughout from exposure to moisture. There are many stains and areas of paper loss scattered in various areas. Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid and please do not bid unless you can accept the defects described above, or you are willing to pay to have them properly restored.
