2 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More)

The Road to Singapore, the 1931 Alfred E. Green romantic love triangle melodrama ("Based on a play by Roland Pertwee From a story by Denise Robins"; about an unhappy couple in British Singapore, and the wife falls for a dashing playboy) starring William Powell ("William Powell in his greatest dramatic hit"; "His First Warner Bros. & Vitaphone Picture"), Doris Kenyon, Marian Marsh, Louis Calhern, and Alison Skipworth
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that all of these stills are reference set photos. Both of them have a visible clapboard in the image that gives the details about the movie. The studios would use these images for reference if they needed to shoot additional footage at a later time after the set was taken down. What is really great about these two stills is that they both feature William Powell on the sets (most set reference photos rarely if ever have anyone pictured in them, especially the lead star of the movie!). Note finally that each also has "Return to Technical Office" stamped on back with information about the scene.

Condition: very good. Both of the stills have a few minor scuffs that are mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light and they are otherwise in pretty nice condition!
