Date Sold 10/11/2015Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Bill of Divorcement, the 1922 Denison Clift silent family relationship divorce melodrama ("From Clemence Danes's terrific stage hit of 1921 - 1922") starring Constance Binney, Fay Compton, Malcolm Keen, Henry Victor, and Henry Vibart. Note that this movie is completely forgotten today, but it was remade in 1932 with John Barrymore and Katharine Hepburn, and again in 1940 with Maureen O'Hara and Adolphe Menjou. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: good to very good. There is slight smudging around the edges of the glass (it is not very distracting, and it could likely be cleaned). The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Learn More about condition grades
