Reported Missing, the 1922 Henry Lehrman silent comedy thriller ("REPORTED MISSING , Famous Motion Picture Comedian, OWEN MOORE, and a notable array of screen performers who were last seen at a New York Theatre where all records for Laughter and thrills were broken"; "The fastest moving picture on record"; "Loads of Laughs!"; "A world of thrills!"; "SUITABLE REWARD will be paid for the detection of OWEN MOORE or any member of the "REPORTED MISSING" cast who is found in any scene or situation in this performance that fails to stir your emotions or make you laugh."; "The greatest comedy-melodrama ever screened"; in the mold of silent Mack Sennett and Hal Roach comedies [director Henry Lehrman had been a Sennett director], this movie was a complicated satire of the thrillers that were popular at the time, with Owen Moore as a rich man whose wife insists he work, so he ends up buying a fleet of ships, and he and his wife end up shanghaied!) starring Owen Moore, Pauline Garon, Tom Wilson (a large white man who specialized in playing black roles in the early silent days when studios were reluctant to hire African Americans; he would put burnt cork on his face and skin!; he appeared in The Kid, but not in a black role), Togo Yamamoto and Frank Wunderlee

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare teaser one-sheet (note the lack of credits on the poster). There are very few surviving teaser posters from 1920s or 1930s movies, although they of course became extremely popular in the 1980s and are still used in the present day!

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster had some tiny paper loss at the top crossfold and in the left half of the middle foldline. There was some minor wear on the other foldlines and around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
