TOM WILSON (actor)

Tom Wilson was a character actor from the 1910s to the 1960s. Even though he was not African-American, he would often portray African-American characters, and would use makeup made out of burnt cork and sometimes hairpieces that made him look as if he had a fringe of white hair. Some of his movies include: Amarilly of Clothes-Line Alley, Ham and Eggs at the Front, and The Captain's Kid. He passed away in 1965 at the age of 84.
