Leonard romantic love triangle stage acting dancing musical comedy ("The new sensational musical romance!"; Crawford is an actress in a low class dance show, and she gets arrested, and rich Tone gets her a better job, but Gable, who runs that show, falls for her; Healy is Gable's assistant and Fred Astaire and Nelson Eddy appear as themselves) starring Joan Crawford, Clark Gable, Franchot Tone, May Robson, Winnie Lightner, Fred Astaire (without Ginger Rogers!), Robert Benchley, Ted Healy and his Stooges (Moe Howard, Curly Howard, Larry Fine; his "stooges" would soon form their own act and become immortal as "The Three Stooges"), Sterling Holloway, and Nelson Eddy.
