A 1934 Re-Release Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Men Without Law, the 1930 Louis King south-of-the-border cowboy western ("Buck Jones in a Whirlwind All Talking Western"; "Thrilling all-talking western"; about a cowboy who discovers his brother has joined an outlaw gang, and when they go to Mexico and kidnap the beautiful daughter of a rancher, he rescues the daughter and breaks up the gang, and wins the girl) starring Buck Jones, Thomas Carr, Carmelita Geraghty, Lydia Knott, and Harry Woods. Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocoanut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that Columbia Pictures in the 1930s and 1940s would often give their major successes a full-scale second re-release a few years after the first release (in the case of this movie, four years later). They would either print the exact same posters from the original plates in full color, solely altering the copyright date, or, they would create brand new art different from that of the first release (which is true in this case), and they would put the re-release date in the bottom left copyright area, but without indicating that the poster was a re-release, which would cause the poster to years later be sold as first release, by people who did not check the original release date of the movie. The same was true of the lobby cards, where they would add the new copyright date to the bottom border. This IS a 1934 re-release lobby card for this movie! Condition: good to very good. The card was lightly folded down the middle and there are pinholes in the corners. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
