An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (measures 11" x 17"; 6 pages) (Learn More) Private Eyes, the 1953 Edward Bernds detective mystery crime screwball comedy ("Written by Elwood Ullman and Edward Bernds") starring The Bowery Boys (billed as "Leo Gorcey and The Bowery Boys"; including Leo Gorcey, Huntz Hall, David Gorcey and others), Bernard Gorcey (as Louie Dambrowski), Robert Osterloh, Joyce Holden, William 'Bill' Phillips, Rudy Lee, and William Forrest. Note that Bernard Gorcey was star Leo Gorcey's father, and he played Louie, the owner of the Sweet Shop, where the boys frequently hung out, and Louie was often involved in slapstick gags, and many times Leo Gorcey would be tormenting or slapping his own father! This pressbook has either ads cut out or missing pages or both.
